Ballet with Jane Caputo

 

Ms. Caputo studied with Edward Villella and Mimi Paul (NYC Ballet), Victoria Shifflett (American Ballet Theater). Her teaching method is Vaganova-based with influences from the Royal Ballet School and the Cecchetti Method.  Advanced students will benefit from her Balanchine Method.

Belly Dance with Elena Griffin

 

The incredibly popular belly dance is a very feminine art form and is known for its fluidity and grace, as well as its response to the call of the drum.

Participants will learn not only dance technique and movement, but also traditional rhythms, history, and culture in order to make this a well rounded experience.

Beginner & Intermediate

Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 pm

Intermediate / Advanced

Wednesdays 7:30-8:30 pm

Dance for Fitness and Fun with Michele Colley

This is a cardio-dance class for every level of dancer and exercise enthusiast. You will get hot and sweaty during this dance-fitness party that uses a combination of hip-hop, funk, Broadway, jazz, Latin and any other type of dance we can fit in. A non-stop, 60-minute workout that will melt away fat while boosting your dance skills like never before; Dance for Fitness and Fun allows people of all ages to attain their fitness goals while getting their dancing YA-YA's out! It's an exciting and fun, full-body workout you won't want to miss. 

Beginners through Advanced - everyone is welcome!

Kripalu Yoga with Michele Colley

The practice of Kripalu Yoga, which uses the body as a vehicle for accessing spirit, can have profound effects on the mind and emotions as well as the physical body including reduced anxiety, stress and blood pressure levels, and increased relaxation, flexibility, strength, endurance, and energy.

 

Saturdays, 8:15 - 9:45
